Did you know that PYLUSD has over 22,000 students and a $400 million budget? School Board Trustees are responsible for overseeing teacher and staff contracts, school facilities, complex educational programs, and executive hiring decisions. This is a role I've successfully navigated for over 16 years.
I also serve in other leadership roles, including Vice President of the North Orange County Regional Occupational Program, and President of the Orange County School Boards Association. Beyond that, I've been a Yorba Linda business owner (10 years), Placentia Nonprofit Executive Director (10 years), PTA Member (20+ years) and received the PYL Unified Council PTA Elected Official Honorary Service Award.
