re-elect carrie for Placentia-yorba linda school board, area 5
I'm Carrie Buck.
I'm asking for your support as I run for re-election to the Placentia-Yorba Linda School Board.
Public Education is more than reading, writing, and arithmetic. It is about preparing students to think critically, adapt confidently, pursue meaningful careers, and thrive in a rapidly changing world. The choices we make today will shape our students' futures for years to come.
As your current School Board President, I am proud of the continued progress we are achieving:
My Vision
Every Student Deserves the Opportunity to Succeed
I am committed to ensuring every student in the Placentia‑Yorba Linda Unified School District receives a high‑quality public education that prepares them for college, careers, and life. I believe every student deserves the opportunity to succeed academically, socially, and emotionally in a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment.
As the daughter of two special education educators, mother of three PYLUSD graduates, and a nonprofit leader dedicated to ending youth and family homelessness, I value every student's strengths, listen to families, and respond thoughtfully to the challenges they face.
My record reflects a commitment to students, families, fiscal responsibility, community partnerships, and transparent, accountable governance that puts students first. I will continue working to strengthen our schools, support outstanding educators, and ensure every student has the opportunity to thrive.
